                                Curing the Worlds’ Worst life threatening Disease: Sin

“And hope does not disappoint us, because God’s love has been poured into our hearts through the Holy Spirit which has been given to us.” Romans 5:5RSV

My many years of public service I’ve witnessed so much physical and emotional suffering within the hearts of individuals. Social unrest, in souls that are hurting and disillusioned. The pandemic concern of over-use of medications, along with illegal drug abuse and alcoholism is leaving our society without hope.  

Learning to lean on God’s authority and promises are the beginning to curing so much of this life threatening disease.  In ourselves we have no ability to find: ‘True Life and hope that can be seen.’ 

But God created us on purpose; for His purpose!

Abundant living cannot be recognized as wealth and prosperity of material goods and big bank accounts. Rather, finding the wealth of living under God’s resources. Serving the flesh profits nothing!

Jesus proclaimed: “I am the way, the truth, and the Life,” He is our way of escape from this life threatening disease.

When I declared not my sin, my body wasted away through my groaning all day long.
For day and night thy hand was heavy upon me; my strength was dried up as by the heat of summer. Selah I acknowledged my sin to thee, and I did not hide my iniquity; I said, “I will confess my transgressions to the Lord”; then thou didst forgive the guilt of my sin. Selah
Psalm 32:3-5RSV

True living is having a clear conscience under God’s authority; walking in the power of God’s presence, free from this life threatening disease called sin and fear of ‘self.’
