                                                         Be a Mustard Seed

“The Kingdom of Heaven is like a tiny mustard seed planted in a field. It is the smallest of all seeds but becomes the largest of plants, and grows into a tree where birds can come and find shelter.”  
Mathew 13:31-32TLB

This parable truly demonstrates how the Spirit of God’s presence can, and will expand and mature faith. Faith given us from God, is the ingredient to trusting Him more and putting less confidence in self. What life becomes through new birth will blossom, like the tiny mustard seed, and open to a lost soul revelations of God’s love and grace.

The ‘artificial intelligence’ world of technology changes so rapidly; that for most people learning a new software skill becomes obsolete before our ability to fully understand what it’s all about. People are searching for something that is everlasting, much more than what is ever-changing.  

God’s word takes time to fully comprehend and develop, to have full knowledge of our Lord’s intent. Like the tiny Mustard seed planted in fertile soil, our own growing and learning must not be in a hurry.

How many times have we read a passage of scripture and say to ourselves; “I never saw that before!” How I’ve learned over my own years, a mustard seed planted in me years previous is filled with new revelations. Only God knows when we’re capable and ready to lead us onto another avenue in our growing and learning.  

Because God’s word never changes, it’s far superior to any artificial intelligence. Its authority is forever.

Father, plant us in fertile soil; like the mustard seed, grow deep roots of understanding your word into everlasting promise and purpose. AMEN
