                                                    Faith Moves through Godly Fear

“By faith Noah, being divinely warned of things not yet seen, moved with godly fear, prepared an ark for the saving of his household, by which he condemned the world and became heir of the righteousness which is according to faith.” Hebrews 11:7 NKJV

This faith Noah displayed did not come through his own human reasoning, but because he obeyed God’s Spiritual prompting. Noah purposed to obey through Godly fear.

When we’re tuned in to desire our Lord’s leading, this faith given from above, becomes our own challenge to be moved beyond our fleshly feelings. God will provide the resources. Our hope, our future, rests with what we do with the opportunity given us. To bring strength and purpose for the task, or loss of blessing because of fleshly fear, when confronted from opposition with oppression and ridicule.

Being challenged to do and be what our Lord sets before us goes far beyond human strength and determination. Purposing our life to God’s honor, leaning on his power and promises brings greater desire to want Him to lead to what will be accomplished.

God assigns us our faith as promised; “For I say, through the grace given to me, to everyone who is among you, not to think of himself more highly than he ought to think, but to think soberly, as God has dealt to each one a measure of faith.” Romans 12:3
We should never fear or doubt the presence of His Spirit, His faith assigned us will provide.  

Through godly fear Noah built his arc. “Father, move us with godly fear to meet the challenges of things not yet seen before us.”
