YOU ARE GOD'S MASTER-PIECE


SCRIPTURAL REFERENCE:

Behold, I have engraved you upon the palms of my hands; your walls are continually before me - Isaiah 49:16

SERMON:

Beloved, You are special to GOD. He loves you specially. His mind is full of you. You are his beloved. You are his master-piece. He took his time to create you. You were amazingly and miraculously made (Psalm 139:14). You were graven upon the palms of his hand. You are the apple of his eyes. You are untouchable. No shaking. GOD is with you. He loves you so much and said to your enemy - "Touch not my anointed, do my Prophet no harm". Beloved, You are GOD's anointed. You are special.
GOD knows your name. Yes, he knows you. The same way He knew the name of Cyrus, the anointed whom He called by name. So does GOD know you. He knows everything about you. GOD knows the name of everything he created including you. Consider the number of stars he created. They are so many yet he knows the name of every one of them. If GOD could know the names of all the stars, don’t you think he could know your name (the name of a being He made in his own image)? Of course, he knows your name. He called Abraham by his name. He called Jacob by name. He called Moses by his name and called Samuel and Paul by their names. GOD knew your name before you were born and named. GOD named Jesus before He was born. He also named John the Baptist, Solomon, Isaac and Samson before they were born. He changed the name of Abraham and his wife, Sarah. He also named Ishmael. In the same way GOD was interested in the lives and destinies of these great people, so GOD is interested in you. Beloved, GOD knows you. You are special to him. He knows every detail about you; your past, present and future. His mind is full of man. He thinks about you. He knows all your thoughts and He has great plans for you.
GOD told Prophet Jeremiah – before I formed you in the belly, I knew you and before you came out of the womb, I sanctified you and ordained you as a prophet to the nations (Jeremiah 1:5). Beloved, GOD knew you before you were born. Never forget he is your maker. He created you and has put the seed of your destiny in you. It is your duty to discover your purpose by consulting him if you are yet to discover it. He said – call unto me and I will show you great and mighty things that you do not know. Beloved, GOD has a lot of things he wants to show you. If you are disturbed on any issue, know that GOD invented you and that he knows your frame. He knows your strengths and weaknesses. You have an high priest (in Jesus) who can be touched by the feeling of your infirmities. You can trust him and rely on him to fix you up when you are down. He is your maker so you don’t have to fear. He is also your Shepherd, so you will suffer no want. I see You moving forward. You will win. You will shine and You will make it in Jesus name. If you believe, shout a believing - amen!

PRAYER: Father GOD, thank you for making me your master-piece, for being mindful of me and for watching over me. I appreciate and adore you. I pray with thanksgiving in Jesus name.
