WHAT TIME IS IT?

SCRIPTURAL REFERENCE:

And of the children of Issachar, which were men that had understanding of the times, to know what Israel ought to do – 1 Chronicles 12:32a

Pray in the Spirit on all occasions with all kinds of prayers and requests. With this in mind, be alert and always keep on praying for all the Lord's people – Ephesians 6:18
I exhort therefore, that, first of all, supplications, prayers, intercessions, and giving of thanks, be made for all men; For kings, and for all that are in authority; that we may lead a quiet and peaceable life in all godliness and honesty – 1 Tim 2:2


SERMON:

The children of Issachar had this special gift of discernment. They knew and understood the times and knew what Israel ought to do at every particular point in time. They were a prophetic tribe with accurate discernment. In these last days, GOD is raising a prophetic company who would be able to discern the times and know what ought to be done. When you wake up from sleep, what is the first thing that comes to your mind? In the rural areas, where the cock crows and wakes up people in the morning and even in the urban cities, when people wake up, what readily comes to their mind is the question – WHAT TIME IS IT? I guess sometimes when you wake up, you quickly take a glance at the clock to check what time is it. I see GOD waking up people in these hour and I see them asking – WHAT TIME IS IT? Beloved, GOD is raising a people who will be able to tell what time is it. Do you know what time is it? Would you like to be a part of these prophetic company that GOD is raising all over the world? You should be able to tell what time is it spiritually. You should be able to discern and understand the times and know what GOD is saying now. Arise! Awake from Sleep!! It is time to pray. It is time to intercede for your country. It is time for you to stand in gap for your leaders. It is time to pray for your people, your family, the church and your nation. It is time for change. When you hear the word of the LORD, respond to it. His word would do you good. When you feel the promptings of the Spirit to do one thing or the other, obey his leading, it can only be for good. GOD is calling you to pray. He is calling you to intercede. Spend quality time praying for your beloved country. It can only be for good. When GOD steps into the battle-field, victory is sure. Situations can change around for good when you pray. Yokes can be broken when you pray. Captivities can be turned around when you pray. Therefore pray, pray and pray until something happens. I see GOD changing your situation. I see GOD turning around your captivity. I see GOD re-writing your story. I see GOD delivering your nation as you pray. Say you to the righteous, it shall be well. Beloved, it shall be well with you and yours in Jesus name. If you believe, shout a believing – Amen!


PRAYER: Father GOD, open my ears, enlighten my heart to hear your word and cause me to know what time is it; pour out your Spirit upon me and cause me to pray and intercede according to your will. I pray with thanksgiving in Jesus name.
