So you call yourself a man

despite the fact that you constantly

raise your hand

to me...

leaving the impressions of your fingers

lingering on my face?


You call yourself a man

despite the fact

that you won't

acknowledge our relationship

in a public place....

for fear of being seen

by one of your many mistresses?


You know--the ones

of whom you constantly boast and brag

about how their breast don't sag

and mines do.


But you know good 'n well

that mine sag

because I've nursed these children

I had by you.


Is that the characteristic of a man?


Does a man love, honor, cherish

and treat his family with respect?

Or does he run the streets all night

and continue to neglect

his responsibilities as a husband

and a father?


You tell me...


Nevermind.

Because, I honestly don't think you can.

Your actions prove

that you don't know

the definition of a man.


So let me break it down for you...


What a man is...


A man is honorable and respectable,

truthful and loyal.

A provider in every way.


He prays with his family.

Respects and stays with his family.

He fears God,

so his love is there to stay.


He's not an abuser

and never a user.

His love of God

keeps him on the right path.


He tries to be Christlike

in all he does,

because he's afraid

to provoke God to wrath.


On the flip side,

let's look at what a man ain't...


A man ain't you!!!!!!!
