In my Father’s house

There are many mansions.

Very beautiful ones INDEED.

And Jesus went home

To prepare one of them

Especially for me.


The streets that surround my mansion,

I’ve heard, are paved with gold.

And all my neighbors

Will be young like me

Because they’ll never grow old.


We’ll feast on milk and honey

From sunup to sundown…

Oops! My bad! I forgot

Infinite daylight will

be all around.


No cooking, no cleaning

No bills, no demons,

No lies, no sadness at all.


No worries, no fears,

ALL joy, no tears,

I’m gonna relax and

Have me a ball!


No restlessness, no sorrow,

No cares about tomorrow,

Because today will never ever end.

No rumors, no backstabbing,

No chaos and no confusion

Since all my neighbors are friends


In my mansion,

Since there are no bills,

That means no mortage I’d have to pay

I’ll be at peace and free

To fellowship and praise

A mighty King all day.


I’m a member of THE Royal Family.


My mind often ponders and wonders

How I can stay in this mansion scott free…

Then I remember Jesus paid the price for me

Waaaaaaaaaay back on Calvary!
