Matthew 13
New King James Version (NKJV)
11 He answered and said to them, “Because it has been given to you to know the mysteries of the kingdom of heaven, but to them it has not been given.12 For whoever has, to him more will be given, and he will have abundance; but whoever does not have, even what he has will be taken away from him. 13 Therefore I speak to them in parables, because seeing they do not see, and hearing they do not hear, nor do they understand.
My Beloved Brothers and Sisters,
The above text is powerful and it contains a couple of revelatory scriptures regarding the mysteries of the Kingdom and how these mysteries are communicated. Depending on how one received these mysteries they result in abundance or result in lack. In the 13th chapter of Matthew Jesus have given the multitude a parable (a short story which reveals spiritual truths)of the Sower. The disciples questioned Jesus about why does he speak to the people using parables? Jesus response allows the disciples to understand that "the mysteries of the kingdom are being communicated." If you have received Jesus as your Lord and King then you will be able to understand the royal language of the kingdom. This language or parables reveals the secrets of success in the Kingdom. For example; the sower went out sow...The sower is Jesus and he sowed the Word of God. It is the Word of God that reveals the secrets of success. Whoever has open their hearts to hear and obey the Word of God is in position to receive the secrets of success and to gather the abundance of riches from Heaven which has been stored up for the saints. However; they who refused to hear God's Word the little that they think they have will be lost. In conclusion, the Word of God is for the Kingdom citizens who will be enriched by it and those who are of the world will not be able to receive and understand nor apply the Word of God because it will be just parables to them. For those who have ears to hear....let them hear!
