I’ll tell you what thought comes to my mind
I’m single.
The scripture stares me in the face
Where is the truth for me to embrace
What has this verse to do with me?
Do I turn the page
Let my mind be free
Of the question?
“She is far more precious than jewels”**
Is the rest of the verse
Does that make me feel better
Or make me feel worse
“Far more precious than jewels”
May I add that phrase
To the tools
In my self esteem toolbox?
Am I a diamond
Or a jewel that is fake?
I need an answer
For goodness sake
Then I hear a voice from
Within my soul
“You are not incomplete
In Me you are whole”
“You are My bride
My radiant one
You need not hide
From Proverbs 31”
Lord as I serve you
May I be Your excellent one
As I embrace the truth
Of Proverbs 31
**An excellent wife who can find
She is far more precious than jewels.
Proverbs 31:10 ESV

If King Solomon read this epic, his famous carnality would be embarrassed! Excellent entry.
Very encouraged.
