Very nice! to be honest, I thought this would end in cliche, but it found an honest amount of originality and won me in the end! Beautiful piece! Well done:)

I also like your honesty in portraying the reality that we cannot quickly win people over with words alone - but allow God the time he needs for his grace to gently draw people through their personal barriers. Otherwise we are trying to pick green fruit - which sets anyone's teeth on edge...

Beautifully well-written tale of God's faithfulness. I, too, like how you didn't tie it up in a neat bow at the end. Your dialogue was especially strong.

"A soft answer turneth away wrath." I love the way your character lives his faith openly and completely in this passage. It's a good reminder to us all.
This is an excellently written reminder that while bad things
may happen to us, God is always there for us.

I've had a professor or two like the one in your story. So sure that God is not real, just a myth. However, I'm glad the student was not afraid to stand up and be counted.
