Beautiful! Wonderful comparison between the rise and fall of the seas and the nations. Well done.

I like this--your strong comparisons create a great message in this parable.
Excellently done - and so very timely! It was gripping, evocative, and powerful, as is God's glorious presence in our world today. Thank you!

Wow... amazing work on every level. I love this. Super congrats on your Editor's Choice award!
Beautiful piece. I tend toward poems that don’t rhyme, but this felt unforced – it flowed quite well. I very much like the message. Good job.

Glad to see this made the EC list. Well done!
Congrats on the EC. I enjoyed it VERY MUCH! For some reason, I like poetry, especially this one.
Ah....I see others also chose the same adjective I was thinking: "beautiful." This is compelling in style and message, flowing along with a rising effect. Congrats on your 3rd place!

While I don't tend to incline toward poetry w/ heavy rhyme schemes, I do think your thoughtful vocabulary usage made your poem come alive w/o sounding trite. I also appreciated your inclusion of a slant rhyme --"thought/import." Congratulations on your 3rd place!
