Whose words these are I do not know.
His gibberish just has no flow.
He writes as if his skills exceed,
But truthfully, they’re far below.
With pages of his work to read,
I do not know what time I need.
And though I’ve just begun, I fear
It feels as though my brain might bleed.
With my red pen that I keep near,
I start my job. I need a beer.
I fill the page with marks and jots
Denoting where the goofs appear
To aid in bright’ning shadowed spots,
My reading lamp, one hundred watts.
The extra light will help me see
The work of incoherent thoughts.
Now wishing I could watch T.V.
I cringe at every page I see
But keeping silent, not a peep
I remain busy as a bee.
The words are drivel, dull and cheap
But I have deadlines I must keep
And much to read before I sleep
And much to read before I sleep

My only objection was the beer part....uh, well, guess we won't go there
Enjoyed the rhyme.
Keep writing.
Enjoyed your "and much to read before I sleep", hearkening back to Frost. Fun.
