I stand here in silence amazed,
The canyon spreads wide before me,
The sky paints its pink and orange hues
A masterpiece from the Creator.

I stand here in silence amazed,
The mountain towering above me,
The snow capped peak reaches
Towards heaven.

I stand here in silence amazed,
The ocean surrounds me,
The waves bow down
Before their Creator.

I stand here in silence amazed,
The prairies crunch beneath my feet,
The grasses whisper
Your praise.

I stand here in silence amazed,
The eagles glide on air currents,
Their majestic wings
Show His power.

I stand here in silence amazed,
The glacier sits in the ocean,
The sun glistens,
Showing the Creator's radiance.

I stand here in silence amazed,
The night sky filled with light,
The stars twinkle,
Offering silent prayers.

I stand before You amazed,
Your creation is a grand display,
As it echoes Your praise,
Even in silence it declares,
Glory hallelujah!

This really captures that feeling of awe when you see something that God has created and realize it is "beyond words." Sometimes silence really is the best and only response! Beautiful, and very well done.

All of creation shouts out its testimony to the glory of God! If we did not praise Him, the rocks would cry out His praise. (Luke 19:40) This is a lovely poem that perfectly portrays the "wow" feeling in knowing that God is our all-powerful Creator and Master of the universe.

This was the first thing I read after my morning devotion. It is beautifully written and I can relate to it all. I always feel connected to God when I am outside taking a walk surrounded by His creations.
