The struggles of the flesh and spirit beset me at every junction
Each trying to win over each other
And you watched me fall and rise
Yet did nothing
For wisdom lived in you
And you knew I had to make the right choices
To enter into darkness or fly into the light
To hate or to love
To spin around in happiness
Or fall into sin
Yes my soul you watched
And looked intently at me
I knew, you were there watching my life
Besides Christ
It is you too, who wanted to be saved
And not to be lost into the eternal fires
Nor did I want too either, my dearest soul
I thank you, for hoping and praying
That I would be free
Of all that would enslave me
Yes my soul, I am free
Come, let us walk together to heaven
The lessons are finally learnt
The doors to all that will take me from the Lord closed
Come my soul
Together let us sail into eternal bliss
High as the eagles
Flying with the Holy Spirit
Radiant that with His grace, neither you nor I will be lost
Come let us soar
Higher and higher
Into His light
Into His embrace
Eternal love awaits us
Nothing can entrap us
You and I now harnessed to Christ forever and ever amen
