From the very dawn of time
With desire I have claimed you
I have longed to make you mine
You've been cast in timeless image
You are more than you can know
And I've yearned for the perfection
Of your spirit as you grow
Though I know your time of blindness
Your captivity in sin
Yet have I power to change you
Over your weakness I shall win
For I have bought the right to win you
And I've fought to have you mine
I have slain who would destroy you
With my life I've paid the fine
Can you trust me with your future?
Can you see through my disguise?
King of Heaven born a stranger
Priceless life through one who dies
For my life is clothed in mystery
And my truth in things not seen
And your faith alone will find me
With your heart you'll know my dreams
My love's deeper than man's wisdom
And my healing is divine
In my touch there is great comfort
And my spirit is new wine
And, yes, there shall be freedom
You shall see me face to face
Free from all the things that bind you
And made whole in love and grace
Come into your inheritance
Heaven's treasures all are thine
For this cause were you created
That you share in love divine
I have known you from beginning
From the very dawn of time
With desire I have claimed you
You shall surely now be mine.

The bit of red ink I have is I did stumble over some of the lines. I respect and understand your decision not to use punctuation but do wonder if a well-placed comma here and there might have helped me with the flow a bit.
This week, I've noticed there has been 2 or 3 times as many poems as normal and I think that's because the way God blesses us in so many ways is nothing short of pure poetry. You did a delightful job of reflecting that poetic feeling of being blessed in your words. I also thought you did a grand job of bringing the poem full-circle. Nice job.
God bless~
