Time means much more than just growing old,
It consists of memories our hearts behold.
Time is precious, worth more than gold,
It measures a life as a tale twice told.
It carries along the years of a man,
And gauges those years of each life’s span.
Hold dear your time, it’s life’s rarest gift.
Its value the sands of time cannot sift.
Don’t hold barren this wondrous gift you’re given.
Redeem your time – the goal being Heaven.
Where the gift of time is Eternity,
And the fullness of time will then come to be.
Carry close to your heart the passing of years,
Looking to the day He’ll wipe away all your tears.
Draw nigh to the one God calls His Son,
Until at the end of time you have won
The crown of life that was bought with great price,
And given to each soul that knows Jesus Christ.
