So true
So well put
Amazing!
I love the realistic picture you paint of a poet's life, or any writer's life for that matter. It's definitely not for the faint of heart! A few rhyme & meter glitches ("had" & "God" in the last stanza bothered me! sorry!), but overall, it flowed smoothly. BUT, also in the last stanza, I loved the main point you presented - "get a glimpse of God" - both for the poet, as well as the reader! Wonderful truth in this poem.
I liked this very much. It is very real and honest about writing. The ending was the best part. Thank you. Keep writing.

I loved it.
I love this and the very real truths you express! Well done.
You've expressed the bitter sweetness of a writers (poet's) life. My favorite line: "That we may climb up rainbows." I think even 750 words in prose could hardly do that one thought justice. Thank-you, by the way, your writings and your comments.
