In hopeful expectation the writer awaits.
Many have read his compelling story,
Numerous rejections still sting his face.
A diligent farmer who never rests,
He works the soil and sows his seed.
Patiently awaiting a bountiful harvest,
He will burn every thorn and weed.
An efficient carpenter and builder,
His foundations are exact;
Cementing gems of truth and life,
Chiseling away myth from fact.
Availing him to sincere seekers.
Full of wisdom, he carves the way.
Strengthening the weary and weak;
Counseling every second throughout the day.
A skilled pilot and respectable captain,
He flies and charts untold courses.
Those who believe and receive him,
Find fulfilling work that he endorses.
As creative artist and detailed painter,
He diversifies endless genetic combinations.
Coloring his children in every nation,
He sets boundaries in specified locations.
A mediator, delegate, diplomat, herald,
An expert broker who’s paid untold debts,
A masterful mind who knows everything;
Yet, repentant souls’ sins he wills to forget.
He’s the doctor diagnosing accurately -
Sickness and every germ infested strain.
Steadily performing needed operations.
Transfusing his life blood; enduring great pain.
Lowering himself to become a servant,
He clothed himself with human flesh.
Willingly, he laid down his life,
Suffering so we could truly rest.
Bearing the world’s sins upon his shoulders,
Exchanging our filth for his righteousness.
He became a servant, even unto death;
Amending and saving from our wretched mess.
Now, he sits at his Father’s right hand;
Interceding for his children below.
He weaves every trial and hardship
Into a beautiful tapestry of growth.
Although his activity is a consuming fire
He’ll never snuff out a smoldering wick,
Nor crush a broken, battered reed.
An invaluable treasure; he’s the true relic.
Wrapping himself in glorious light,
He shines truth to the seeking heart.
He’s the author and finisher of our faith.
Unconditional love and hope, he imparts.
He was there in the beginning.
He’ll be there in the end.
His head adorned with many crowns:
“Creator, Sustainer, King and Friend.”
Omnipotent, omnipresent, omniscient,
Powering the universe, he directs kings decisions.
Enthroned on chariots of clouds, the winds are his servants.
Yet, he dwells in hearts who’ve accepted his salvation.
All our days were written in his book,
Before even one day came to be.
A masterpiece now unfolding;
Someday, we shall clearly see.
