David could not afford a car with the minimum-wage salary he made working at the Burger Barn, so his friends Steve and Melissa brought him to Gina’s house to pick her up. They laughed in a conspiratorial manor as they chatted and rode off to David’s apartment, promising Gina a wild evening of “new” experiences to file away in the memory banks of her life.
Gina was surprised at how easily she participated in drinking the alcohol and taking part in the sexual activities, but she had been preparing her mind to savor these exploits for some time now, assuring herself that she loved David and that, of course, David loved her – or at least he would after she proved her love to him this night.

Around 11:15 p.m. the phone rang. Gina’s mother answered quickly, knowing Gina had said she would be home by 11:30 p.m.
“Hello?”
“Mom, can I talk to Dad? I need him to come get me.”
“What do you mean, Gina? Are you all right? Where are you?” The questions of concern poured from her mother’s heart.
“I’m fine. I’m at David’s apartment. We had car trouble. David called some friends to come get us. They brought us to David’s apartment, but it’s too far for them to bring me home. Let me talk to dad so I can give him the directions.”
The disturbance in the atmosphere was palpable to the Guardian Angels who shared the role of watching over this family.
Is she going to tell them the truth?
No, but they will find out that she lied to them, just not right away. After all, she accepted Satan’s “dare”, so she will have to pay. Her mom will take her to the doctor for “an irritation” in about a week. The doctor will tell them that Gina has a sexually transmitted bacterial infection. This time antibiotics will take care of it. Her parents will, once again, try to discuss the importance of sexual purity with her. She will listen and give all the “appropriate” responses, but her heart is being hardened through accepting Satan’s dares as “challenges”. She will fall victim to his “game” until she recognizes that this is not a game; this is the road to DEATH.
Surely God will help her.
Indeed, God has helped her. He has given her Believing parents who have been instructing her in the Way since physical birth. He has given her other family members who continually lift her soul to His Presence, also. He has given her His Word, with multiple opportunities to learn and understand. He is giving her a gentle physical warning this time.
Yet, it always comes down to the individual’s perception of Satan’s games, doesn’t it?
Amen.
The parents? Will they temper the storm?
Ah-h-h, their hearts are ones which will be refined by fire.
Amen, and Amen.

Gina's thought processes in planning and believing she will get away with her deception was skillfully portrayed. Well done!
