“On earth?” Eli repeated, taking the folder.
“Yes. I will remind you that you are volunteering your services and powers as needed. There will be no interference in wars or major events. It is not for you to alter the future.”
“Future? You mean we’re going back in time?” Mystic quivered with excitement.
“Yes. Warpmaster Darren will prepare a traveling time warp for all of you. I am giving you each ten one-hundred dollar bills of earth currency. Use it wisely, to help those in need. The warp will reactivate in eight hours. Regroup in the skies among the clouds. Travel safely in His love and light.”
“Thank you, Grand council woman.” They murmured respectfully, waiting until she moved on before crowding around Eli.
“Has anyone been to earth before?” Eli asked, flipping through the papers.
“I have.” Invisible Girl glided into the conference room, slowly resuming her visible form. “I visited for an academy project. It’s rather sad. They have virtually no concept of things eternal.”
“Such as?” Plex asked.
“Many of them don’t believe in God. Many have never heard of Him.” Invisible Girl reached for the folder. “Humans are naturally suspicious of anyone who seems different from them. My powers came in handy. Being bulletproof is a gift I thank the Lord for giving me, as well as my other powers.”
“So what exactly should we do when we get there?” Asher poked the folder. “There’s not a clear mission objective.”
“Nothing is clear down there.” Dove’s silvery voice drew their attention. “And Warpmaster Darren is ready.”
The group exchanged looks, before following Dove out the door.
On earth:
“Time to get proactive.” Eli shifted into mid-hover. “Who’s going where and why?”
“I can see if there are any benefit concerts around.” Mystic offered. “I can sing and donate whatever I receive wherever ‘tis needed most.”
“With a voice like yours, you’ll do wonderful.” Eli nodded his permission. “May His love and light be with you.” Mystic smiled, taking to flight.
“I’ll lend my services to the security here.” Invisible Girl motioned towards a police officer. “They have quite a job.”
“Indeed they do.” Eli agreed. “His love and light be with you.” He whispered as she took the flight.
“I’ll visit the nursing homes the youth groups missed.” Plex announced, ticking off names on his fingers. “Everyone deserves a listening visitor.” He turned to Dove. “Need any of my gift?”
Dove lightly brushed his shoulder with her fingertips. A golden spark passed between him and she smiled faintly as he took to flight.
“I’ll help with the environment causes.” Asher tipped his head. “With my speed, the difference will matter for some time.” He grinned. “In His love and light!” He disappeared in a blur.
Eli looked at Dove. “I’ll visit the hospitals and shelters. You?”
“I’m going to visit children.” She said softly. “The ones that don’t know about Him.”
“His love and light be with you.” He said.
“And with you.” She murmured, turning in the opposite direction.
Eon-Force Regroups
“It amazes me all the waste and junk I cleared away.” Asher commented, hovering slightly higher than the rest of them in the clouds, as they waited for the warp to reappear.
“It amazes me the greed of some humans.” Mystic shook her head. “They fought with each other, trying to offer their services as an agent. It was most disturbing.”
Eli nodded. “There was so much sickness, disease and hopelessness. I wonder if I even made a difference.”
“Too much violence.” Invisible Girl added. “I deflected so many bullets, darts, debris and knives.”
Plex sighed. “Everywhere I went, a little love went a long way. They were so lonely, save the few that remember Him.”
“Many of the children never even heard of Him.” Dove said quietly.
Asher smacked his forehead. “Dove, I forgot to use my earth currency.” He handed it over.
Dove took it, closing her eyes. “I will send it where ‘tis needed most.” Asher smiled, relieved.
A large, swirling black circle spiraled open behind them and they all turned to go, except for Dove.
Focusing her energies slowly and deeply, she transported the money, hurrying to join her fellow teammates with empty hands.
“Think we made a difference?” Eli asked.
Dove smiled radiantly. “I know we made a difference.”

I love reading about time travel, and enjoyed this very much.
Great symbolism, dialogue and format.
Some really great writing too to pull it off! ;)
A creative, fun read.
Well done.
Everything flowed, but there were a couple of times I had to re-read so I wouldn't be confused, usually during dialect.
I would have liked to have heard actual instances of what they did to help, but I know word count is important. I think, expanded to include specifics, this would make a great story.
The piece had a pleasent light tone ... but it might have been better to enter into more of their moral aversion to what they experienced. It also might have been better to follow just one or two of them in more of their encounters with us ... it ended up as though you "told" rather than "showed."
Keep writing, this was a fun piece that shows real inventiveness.
