First a shade of gray with no sign of clarity
Slowly a vague form yet no defined area
A mere shadow, just a blur lacking verity
Time brings focus and color, the image complete
What purpose this expression of fact or memory
Only a picture without reality, needing a repeat
Nothing eternal, this representation a parody
Love from above, only begotten Son perfectly reflects
Clearly revealed in a crimson shade of red
The covenant confirmed through His blood’s effect
By grace life abundant for the spiritually dead
In flesh God came proclaiming His everlasting love
Offered to all who sin and do know not His glory
Forgiven in Jesus, sealed by the Holy Spirit as a dove
Now ambassador for Christ proclaiming the true story
A rug made by machine in the interest of time
Rough in texture with its detail blurred
Functional with traces of beauty yet unrefined
The color not vibrant, no artistry occurred
Oriental rug, skillful creation with a vision in mind
Marks of authenticity when viewed from top and back
In pattern, warp and weft of the hand woven kind
Time invested in a work of art, the value without lack
Beautiful house built on sand but not by gracious plan
The Designer’s loving instructions clearly not heeded
No solid foundation, against storms it cannot stand
Unnecessary loss, only wisdom of obedience needed
Salvation by grace in God’s love replete
His word, Jesus chief cornerstone our firm foundation
God’s handiwork begun He will complete
Into His glorious image refined for eternity’s duration

God bless~
Thank you for your serious work.
You covered a lot of different angles here. Perhaps the reader would be able to follow better if you were to focus on fewer examples. And you might work on trying to smoothly transition into each item making a bridge to connect the thoughts.
I understood the comparisons of the two rugs and they were good! And of the two houses, but felt there should be a transition between them.
You are on the right track. Keep up the great work and I look forward to your next entry!

1 Peter 3:15 - But sanctify the Lord God in your hearts: and [be] ready always to [give] an answer to every man that asketh you a reason of the hope that is in you with meekness and fear:
