Late in the watches of the night, just south of Elliot Lake in a place called Denison Mine, I was working alone in a section tunnels when the bucket loader I was driving got stuck in a rut. My reputations precedes me. I am rugged, a proud man, self made, strong and sometimes, too proud for my own good. Whatever mess I get myself into, I have the guts and determination to get myself out.
I secured my situation as best I could and began prying the vehicle out from the rut. The load suddenly shifted, I slipped and the bucket dropped pinning me face down into the wet earth. My hard hat was equipped with a light that dimly lit the situation. Eery Shadows, strange laughter echoing on the walls, the foul smell of sulfur and burning flesh filled my senses.
"Ha, Ha, Ha." The sound of his haunting voice filled every fiber of my being. "You fool. After all these years, you thought you were living life your way. Ha, ha, ha. I set my trap and you fell for all my tricks and schemes. You're shackled and snared, and now you lay helpless in this dark black hole. You're were mine. You pathetic heap of a man."
I could do nothing. The arm of the bucked loomed over me as if to claim my soul while the thousand pound bucket weighed heavy, pain on my heart and suffocating my breath.
"The dampness will soon fill your nostrils and the moisture and molds will smother your lungs. Ha, ha, ha.
l'll be back to claim my prize."
"Made in the image and likeness of Him. Ha, ha, ha. Where is He now? He'll never find you in this black forsaken hole. He'll never look for you here. What good did all those prayers do? Ha, ha, ha, ha." the words trailed off absorbing into the tunnel walls.
The little boy, deep within me whispered a cry to its Creator. In the blackness of the pit I had gotten myself into a state of despair. The moisture was filling my nostrils, I could not move my head and lay there totally helpless. Someone moved my head away from the source of moisture and placed it to one side. There was a presence of love so overwhelming. How, did He know where I was here?

In the late watches of the night, five hundred miles away a voice commanded "Pray." Immediately she obeyed.
The burden was so great that her chest began to tighten and a sharp knife like pain ran through her heart as if she were having a heat attack.
Another urgent request, "She needs to see." and was taken to the source of pain. The only way to describe what happened would be to count one, two, three.
One, her body was flying on the wings of a cherub, she was at one with the earthly elements, moving at great speed, unhindered through the air until she reached her destination.
Two, traveling downward through the blackness of the earth. Again, with great speed she was drawn through long dark black narrow tunnels. The blackness began to suffocate her from the outside in with fear and panic. It tired to overcome her. She began to identify with thoughts of never getting out of here alive.
Someone was guiding her and spoke in a sharp voice into her inner ear. "Focus, trust and move forward with me. Concentrate you are here for one purpose, to see.
At the same moment she was traveling down a side tunnel that led into another long black tunnel, there was doubt and uncertainly. Which way to go? For there were many tunnels and it was imperative to choose the right one. She heard another voice calling her forward. "Yes, this is the way." A faint light in the distance revealed the location.
Three. She was back in her bed, slightly confused; then, she suddenly understood what she had seen.
That morning her grandfather telephoned, "Your dad has a serious mining accident and is in hospital."
