GOD is the expert. He declares to be king.
The ruler of the universe. The creator of all things.

In ephesians 6:12 he explains why he is needed.
He seals the deal. In him, I'm undefeated.

I stand on the highest mountain and shout his glory.
In every step that I take; I tell his story

Not ashamed; to lift up his name.
Chasing him. Not fortune nor fame.

Life with no christ is no life at all.
He is my refuge and shield. In him I stand tall.

He is my buckler. He encamps around me.
I am loving him because he first loved me.

His will shall be done. I praise his name.
For his breath is in me. He is in my veins.

I tried my way. Thought I was an expert.
I rejected GODS way and brought on a curse.

He delivered me. With him I want to be.
My life is not my own. It's his breath within me.

Ephesians, Psalms

Rhyming takes time. You did well here.

And yes, we may have made a mess of our lives like those Peter preached to in Acts 2. But when they believed that Jesus, the one they had crucified, was both LORD and Christ and obeyed Peter by yielding themselves and were baptized for the forgiveness of their sins, they received the gift of the Holy Spirit and were made new in the sight of God since they had no sin between them and God.

Nice work, keep writing.
