History has been calibrated in a complex measurement of minutes, hours, days and so on as we know it today. In ancient periods, the time entrepreneurs developed ways of spacing sections of expanded nonphysical space into this method by using the sky as their guide. The constellations were drawn upon to establish star locations in the physical, to relate to the nonphysical element of what is, as compared to what has been.
To twist one’s mind around time has been an exploration of infinite fascination for centuries. Scientists and authors have explored the far reaches of the imagination to travel to the future and relive the past. They search for that machine to accomplish the journey, and the formula to bend time. Every child and many adults have pondered a trip to a far off time adventure where their minds are enveloped in a gun fight at the OK Corral, or boarding a spaceship launched from an earth platform many generations in the future.
To hear the phrase “I was born a hundred years too late.” is familiar to all of us. Which brings me to my point… time and history is set, and ordained. The good Lord has given us a watch, a mind, a will and a purpose. So when we look at the time, remember our path, follow his gift to us, and learn from what was, for right now.
“Yet not I travel the past, but with lesson to benefit the present.”
