He had been talking with an angel named Humble, earlier and Humbler’s vial, which contained multitudes of prayers offered up by the saints, was almost full. Speculation among the inhabitants of heaven was high. They knew that as soon as Humbles’ vial was filled that the Fathers answer for those that had humbled their selves in prayer would be revealed. Then, suddenly, the sound of the trumpet could be heard throughout the Kingdom of heaven and The Father, The Son and the Holy Spirit, with one accord, would send forth the word and a miracle would be born! The spoken word of the Father was an amazing miracle in its’ self for when he spoke immediately miracles came forth with nothing lacking everything perfect and complete.
All the inhabitants stood in awe as the Father began to speak. “ Everyone was aware that Humbles’ vial has been filled. The saints had humbled themselves in prayer and have been seeking my face. On earth there is a disease called AIDS, which Satan has been using to take the life of my children, both young and old. Even before this attack was planned, I had already prepared the answer. I sent a child with the Spirit of wisdom and knowledge and the key to a great scientific discovery that will stop the disease forever. Today is a special day because now we will see what this child, now grown, will do with his free will. Will he receive or reject his chosen destiny?” All of heavens attention was drawn to, Bill, God’s chosen vessel on earth.
It was a cool autumn evening and Bill was sitting in front of a warm cozy fireplace with Susan his childhood sweetheart snuggled close to him. Although she was dying with AIDS, she had great peace. Bill longed for the same peace, but the thought of losing the love of his life seemed so unfair. As they sat cuddled close in each other’s arms, Susan opened her Bible to John 3:16. Her voice was filled with tender love and emotion as she read, “For God so loved the world that he gave his only begotten Son, that whosoever believeth in him should not perish but have everlasting life.” (KJV) “Bill, I know that God’s love for me is everlasting and so I can face whatever lies ahead. One day He will give the world the key to destroy this terrible disease if his miracle cure for AIDS comes in my lifetime that would be wonderful. Whatever happens, though, I know that I have an eternal home in heaven and will never be separated from him.”
There were tears were streaming down Bill face and Susan gently began to wipe them with her hand she spoke softly, “Bill, one day we will be together for all eternity.”
Bill did not understand how she could speak so calmly about her death and as he listened to her soft voice, again she spoke, “Bill, you need Jesus. He loves you and in the days ahead he will help us through the storms.”
As his body shook and tears flowed freely, Bill realized that he could not live another day without Jesus. He repeated this prayer with Susan. “Jesus I believe you are the Son of God, now please forgive me of all my sins and come into my life.” As the prayer ended Bill felt the peace of God for the first time and Susan began to smile as she imaged the angels in heaven rejoicing and wondered about Bill’s destiny and God’s plans for him. Bill repented for the many years he had rejected Gods’ will for his life.
Will your rejection or acceptance of God’s plan for your life, affect the life of others?
