He took some dust of the earth and formed a shape out of it. He breathed into it and it became a living being: the first live human being in fact! (Gen 2:7)
A Divine Design indeed!
From dust and breath comes a live human. Possible? Yes, only for the Divine Designer, the Lord God Almighty!
“What is man?” asks the Psalmist (Psalm 8:4). He also testifies that we are made fearfully and wonderfully in our mothers’ wombs.
A Divine Design indeed!
Two gametes meet, fertilize and form a singe zygote. A single cell! But one which has the potential to become an adult human being! That single cell divides, divides again and again, a finite number of times. The end result? An adult human being who is made up of 100 Trillion cells!
But what is their design?
Cells of like mind come together to form a community called tissue. Tissues sharing a common concern fuse together to form an organ. Organs beating to the drum beat of the Designer, come together to form an organ system. Various organ systems fuse to form a harmonious one, the human being!
A Divine Design indeed!
But that’s not all! That is the structure and function of the ‘body’, a part of the human being. This physical dimension is designed to correlate with the psychological, spiritual, rational, volitional and emotional components. All of these combine intricately to evolve into an individual – you or me! No one is sure of where the seat of the mind is. Where does this actual ‘you’ or ‘me’ reside?
A Divine Design indeed!
We are not through yet!
He went ahead and designed a lovely ecosystem with well balanced cycles, all for us to enjoy! He also created the galaxies and the universe, all so lovingly and skillfully designed for us to enjoy the night sky.
A Divine Design indeed!
What then is the Divine Design for you and me? you ask….
“For I know the plans I have for you,” declares the Lord, “Plans to prosper you and not to harm you, plans to give you hope and a future. Then you will call upon me and come and pray to me, and I will listen to you. You will seek me and find me when you seek me with all your heart. I will be found by you” declares the Lord. (Jeremiah 29:11-14a)
What a lovely design indeed. The Divine Designer made His plans for us. He designed us to seek and find Him. And find our fulfillment in Him! Only then do we get real success and prosperity. Why delay, lets go ahead and find Our Divine Designer today!
