Have you ever broken out in laughter about something that is quite silly? It happens to me all the time. I’ll be sitting there in one of my hardest classes and my friend will say something and ill just go crazy. I’m laughing she’s laughing their laughing all but one person that is, The Teacher you guessed it. It usually earns me a detention, but hey that’s not the point. The point is that laughter is one of the greatest gifts God has given us. And to celebrate laughter I wrote some poems I’d like to share.

A Mighty Power

Laughter brings many things,
Joy and sometimes pain.

It’s been known to heal the heart
And heart’s it’s also slain.

Be careful how you use this tool,
For it’s one of mighty power.

Laughing at someone can be a thorn
But with someone a flower.


The Laughing Bug

Laughter is contagious
One can hardly keep away.

Once you’ve caught the laughing bug,
The bug is here to stay.

It passes virus
From One to number Two.

You can try to hide from it
But the bug will soon find you.

Some people get it often,
And to some it is quite rare.

It’s not a picky virus
So everyone beware!
