As you begin to play the music life gives you, be prepared to listen to each other’s happy music, as well as sad.
Take care when you play the music together that you blend on melody so that you become one, and at other times harmonize together, so the music is individual and yet one sound.
If the music is discordant and hard to hear at this point,~~ play it only once~~ and set it aside because it is too hard to bear.
Let sympathetic strains of music be heard at this point, so that discord will flee and notes of gladness prevail.
Allow the small voices that appear, to sing their happy tunes to cheer your own. No matter what nasty music burns your ears, let the children sing their songs for you at all times. For if you stop their singing, they will forget how to sing for you. You don’t want them to give their songs to another until they are ready to fly.
Don’t forget underneath it all beats the rhythm of the heart, which will not be denied. Learn each other’s timing and try not to miss a beat.
Never forget the author of the music, because we need to follow his lead and not our own. He designed the music and we must write the music within HIS perimeters, or else the music will become sickly and distorted, and the joy will be gone.
When we hold the master’s hand, the measures of joy are boundless, and the music will remain pure and clear.
At this point, I can only think of one more thing to say.
Our Lord Jesus doesn’t deal in half-truths and neither should you. God loved us enough to give us the truth of his word, and you should love each other enough to share real feelings and thoughts now, before trust is broken down.
If you get married and trust is broken, it is 100 times harder to build it back, than to trust the other person with your deep secrets now.
Do not hide things from one another, Satan loves that and I am here to tell him he is not going to win with my children. Who are going to learn to be open, trusting and rely on God for the strength they lack.
If you know how unconditional love works, then you know that we rely on God’s love first, and then we are free to trust, knowing that God will always love us.
Humans fall in and out of love all the time, but only God’s love is constant.
