I wear hats.
Most of the time.
I live in Florida.
Have you ever had a sunburn on top of your head?
I have.
I am bald.
I wear hats.
Most of the time.
I know a lot about hats. I wear baseball hats, sport hats, work hats, rain hats, and, of course, my dress up "Panama Hat."
My favorite hat has a label inside that reads, "One size fits all. Made in China." And I have one that reads "100% Cotton. Made in Sri Lanka." And there is another one with "Fabrique Au Bangladesh." And those are just the inside labels.
Oh, the outside labels?
One reads Husband. One reads Father. One still reads Son, twice. One reads Brother, three times. And others read Worker, Hunter, Fisherman, Writer, and Sunday School Teacher. Oh,and, of course, there's Lawnman, Repairman, Petman, Toiletman, Bill Paying Man and maybe Goofballman.
Yes, I love all my hats and all my labels, but I do have a favorite hat.
It's the one with "DADDY" on it.
And, to my little girl, the label reads "Made in Heaven.
(I won't tell her if you won't!)
