I look forward to the day I will stand before the throne amidst the innumerable multitude in a robe made white by the blood of the Lamb. My voice cries out in anticipation, praising the one who was and is and is to come. And in the midst of my worship, I become keenly aware that the yearning, though unavoidable, is oddly unnecessary. I need not wait or anticipate, for I am already there. I am seated in heavenly places, in Christ Jesus. As he is, so are we in this world. Time is transcended. Space is no more. Difficulty are death are squarely circumvented. And eons like seconds soar. He is Alpha and Omega, the beginning and the ending and I am in him. And just when I think my life is ending, I can see I have just begun. Amen: Blessing and glory and wisdom, and thanksgiving, and honor, and power, and might be unto our God for ever and ever. Amen! I can say as he has said: “Before anything was I AM.”
