Now, there are probably times when you wonder where ‘here’ is, or perhaps, how you got ‘here’. Most of us will spend our lives trying desparately to get from ‘here’ to ‘there.’ (Wherever ‘there’ is.) But one thing is certain. If / When you ever get ‘there’, you will have gotten ‘there’ from ‘here.’ Confusing? Believe me -- It can get nauseating.
You may find it comforting to look for the X or the ‘red dot’ -- you know -- like the one in the mall. (Distinction being, yours will be made of wood and covered with blood. And it will be positioned in your heart, not on the path.) (Colossians 1:9-29 especially vss 20,21 & 28) Ironically, the very first question God ever asked a man (Adam) was: “Where are you?” He’s been finding us lost -- off the path -- ever since. (Luke 19:10)
God repositioned the first Adam with a red dot -- the bloody hide of a freshly slain animal. (Hebrews 9:22) He prepositioned (Before ordained where we should always be relative to everything) us through the last Adam -- Jesus. HE (His shed blood) IS our red dot and His cross marks THE (John 14:6) spot. In him is where you always want to be, for he is the path, the way, the truth, and the life. (Philippians 3:1-11 especially vs 9 / John 14:6)
