TITLE: I'm not Perfect

The base word of Discipleship is Disciple. Which normally our minds associate with the 12. THE twelve. The perfect, godly, rightous 12. Jesus Christ chose them above the others. This was because of their behavior right? They were spiritual giants. Of course, they weren't perfect. But as a t-shirt was said," So close it scares me". Literally. Jesus chose THEM. They hung out with him 24/7. Some of that Godlyness had to rub off. How can I be a disciple and show discipleship? I mean, if they made it, how can I?
First of All, they weren't exactly how I've protrayed so far. They were alot like me. Except they got slammed more. I mean, when God is standing (physically) right in front of you, and you do something wrong, he's not going to be silent. They doubted during the storm. They pushed children away. They hid when he died on the cross. They oubiously didn't listen when he talked. Yet, God chose them. Our exscuses about disciples and discipleship are summed up by one exscuse. I'm not good enough and can't trust God. Why? Mostly because we're lazy. On Dictionary.com, discipleship is basically difined as following teachings, or practices. Discipleship is something that is reachable. Jesus teachings are in the bible. By following them we are showing discipleship. So what if we aren't perfect. Neither were the twelve.
