while I love and romance
and embrancingly dance
God, be mine
as I sleep and dream
and confort me from a nightmare scream
God, be mine
while I drive a car or a truck
and help me out when I stall or get stuck
God, be mine
as I advance in my career
become successful and persevere
God, be mine
while I write spiritual poetry
and seek publication and publicity
God, be mine
as I pray and worship
being continually in your light and leadership
God, be mine
while I raise and teach my son
okay Almighty One
God, be mine
forever and always
and all the time
