So great and just,
They seem so majestic,
So white and so pure.
Mountains oh mountains,
So perfect and true,
They seem so majestic,
But they hide so much more.
Mountains oh mountains,
How much have you seen?
How many car wrecks,
Ski accidents and snowboarding mess-ups?
Mountains oh mountains,
Will you please tell me?
Will I fall to my death,
And regret my decition
To trust you to protect me?
Mountains oh mountains,
My own mother has experienced,
Nearly falling over an edge of yours,
So why do you stand there,
So white and so pure.
Mountains oh mountains,
Is it really your fault?
Or has God decided
Why all these people fall and die?
Mountains oh mountains,
Just watch me as I drive,
As I ski and snowboard,
And tell God to protect me.
