TITLE: Worship Interaction By Cindy Bonner 05/08/04 |

When I discovered the voice of Christ in my life, I began to respond to him in worship.
I respond with gratitude, for he knows my name.
That evokes awe in me, because he is the creator of all things and among his made creation, He wants me.
He has my name written on His hand and His name is written on my heart.
That fact alone makes my heart sing for joy and worship Him.
I tell Him I love Him and that I am His girl.
He begins to walk with me and tell me things only God knows.
Spiritually, I walk with Him arm in arm. I lay my head on His shoulder and I tell Him how wonderful He is to me. Though my love for others knows no boundaries, the source of my love is in Him.
Jesus whispers sweet things in my ear, for He knows my desires are for Him. His will is my will. My delight in Him is endless.
I tell Him my greatest fears and my darkest secrets, and then He chases the fears away with His light piercing them. Fear cannot stay in full view. It must flee from His Almighty presence.
He easily forgives my darkest thoughts and puts His arms around me, showing a comfort only a few have known. I allow Him to comfort me, since I am a sinner saved by His precious blood.
The love He shows me unravels me; I am undone. Then, in His greatness, He magically reweaves me into a being that is His alone.
How my heart sings worship at the goodness and grace of His love!
How I stand in glory beside Him!
I am wretched alone, but with Him inside me, I can move mountains into the sea! Wickedness and evil fear my presence, for Christ is in me. They cannot bear the light of life that shines from me.
How blessed is my dear Lord Jesus!
Honor and Glory are in His possession. He is robed with majesty and power. Somehow, He bids me to be with Him. My heart cries great tears of joy at the wonder of Him.
I wonder why am I chosen as His precious child?
Jesus tells me to hush. He quiets my spirit from restlessness. He bids me trust no other one for He alone can meet all my needs.
I cry, “Yahweh! You provide all things seen and unseen!”
After I trust Him, He reveals things to me that are not known to other humans.
I am a sinner! How can He trust one like me?
Jesus whispers. It is because His life is inside of me that His Father honors Him and so I am also honored. I hold the Father's favor in my hand. My knees bend to glorify the triune God, in the holy places, for they are all mine and I am all theirs. I worship with my face on the floor before Him, for He is my love, my life and my dwelling place. I hide in Him, for there I am safe from anything and anyone, who would do me ill.
