TITLE: Water and Pisces

I don’t know whether the fact that my zodiac sign is Pisces with the symbol being the fish has anything to do with it or not, but I have always been attracted to water. It certainly isn’t because I like to swim, because I can’t swim a stroke. As a little girl we lived by the river. Although not allowed near the river when it was spring time, and melting snow made the river rise, in the summer time when the river fell and the puddles left behind on ‘the beach’ housed the most voracious pollywogs you’d ever have the pleasure of catching.
When I grew up, and my husband and I owned a powerboat. Standing up in the boat with the wind catching my face and hair was a thrilling experience. I seldom wore a life jacket, unless we had children on board. Regardless of not being able to swim, I had no fear of the water.
My favorite daydream is walking along an ocean beach, close to and almost in the water. The sight of water was always very comforting, and gave me time to have my own personal thoughts.
BUT, and this is a big BUT, I do not like to drink water, and don’t, despite the doctor’s dire predictions of what might happen to me if I don’t. As far as I am concerned, water is for taking a bath, nothing more, nothing less.
