Our hearts are at peace on unshakable ground;
We’ve no reason to fear though we sometimes are scorned
Or treated as fools, so naive, uninformed.
Though scattered in nations all over the earth
We’re united as one through the Spirit’s new birth;
In different tongues we all worship and praise
The One Who redeems from the power of the grave.
In our worship we lift up The Lord Jesus Christ
Who died in our place—for our sins He was priced,
Now raised from the dead intercedes at God’s throne,
Advocating for us ‘till the day we go home.
In Spirit and truth from the depths of our soul
We glorify Him, all His ways we extol;
We love Him Who loved us before we were saved—
In the palms of His hands God’s great love is engraved.
Bow your head and your heart, on His love contemplate
As the day of His coming you fondly await;
Let gladness and joy fill your heart to the brim,
Be watching and waiting and worshiping Him.
