And yet they claim to be the wise,
With notions grand they say they know
A better way that we should go.
Departing from the trusted way,
Despising God they lead astray
And all who follow will find out
The folly in the views they spout.
They’ve steeped themselves in marxist thought,
The wisdom of the age they’ve bought;
A woke agenda they pursue—
If you oppose they’ll cancel you.
But you and I should take a stand
Before this woke gets out of hand—
The silent ones need to be stirred
To make their disapproval heard.
There’s nothing new beneath the sun
What once was done is still being done
Though men might think their thoughts supreme
They’re agents of a well-worn theme.
A worldwide war is gaining speed,
But all is as was long decreed;
The signs of times all fit in place—
So soon we’ll see Him face to face.
In heart and soul, with Christ aligned
You’ll not be with the ‘left behind’,
Departing with the glorious throng—
Look up! Watch out!—It won’t be long.
