Many voices all competing
To attract a listening ear,
All insistently entreating
What they espouse we need to hear.

Most broadcasters are left-leaning
The airwaves spout their points of view,
Masquerade as so well meaning
As long held norms they seek undo.

Use the advent of computers
And the internet at large
To present as would-be tutors
As their tenets they discharge.

There’s a need for solid grounding
In the face of this onslaught,
There’s so much that’s pleasant sounding
We must give such careful thought.

Let’s begin at the beginning—
Our first parents knew the truth,
Fell headfirst for Satan’s spinning—
Turmoil’s been its lasting fruit.

There you find confusion’s founder,
Where wrong wisdom has its source,
Cunning of the arch-confounder—
Anarchy his goal of course.

So, though surrounded by confusion
When it seems that mayhem rules
Don’t you fall to disillusion
God-rejection makes men fools.

But there is a sure solution—
God still rules upon His throne;
Though there’s moral devolution
It hasn’t yet become full-blown.

My hope’s anchored in the Scripture,
Where this chaos is foretold;
I see beyond the present picture
And those hell bent to steal my soul.

In this world all is confusion,
Its future is but doom and gloom
Man’s solution is delusion,
But Jesus is returning soon.
