The beaches are where two major environments, each one with their own set of inhabiting creatures, come together and interact.
Humans, and most land-based creatures, need ongoing access to the air in order to take in life-supporting oxygen. Most sea creatures would soon expire if taken out of the water and left on their own.
Some interactions between land and sea creatures can result in serious injury and or death.
Limited interaction between the creatures of each domain is possible through modern day vessels, facilities, and oxygen-supplying apparatus, but system failure can place the creatures’ health and safety in immediate jeopardy.
Erosion, tidal surges, and rip-tides can place human and land creatures that are in shallow coastal waters, and that are in coastal residential areas, in jeopardy.
In the supernatural realm, there are two different, but closely related environments, with each one having it’s own different creatures that serve each domain’s agenda.
Unlike the coastlines with their beaches, the points of contact and line of division between opposing spiritual domains, and the life forms indwelling each one, are not so clearly defined.
Conversing with departed human beings was strictly forbidden in the ancient world (1).
Scripture does NOT dispute the reality of the existence (2) or the capability (3) of good (4) and evil (5) spiritual beings. Such beings can function independently of (6), and or in collaboration with (7), human beings.
Jesus taught His disciples to pray for deliverance from evil. This would include the type of evil associated with inappropriate interaction with spiritual beings.
In an attempt to gain future knowledge, protection, tangible benefits, satisfy curiosity, or to ward off harm and adversity, evil practices and activities encouraging interaction with spiritual beings from these two opposing domains is very much a part of many cultures and religions.
Long before the creation of Man, there was only one domain. The throne room of that domain was where we now refer to as the 3rd Heaven (8).
On the throne in that domain is God, who being eternal in nature, al ways did, does now, and always will exist as the Creator and sovereign Ruler over everything that ever was, is now, and ever will be.
One of the honor guards (9), whose protective function placed him in the throne room of God, sought his independence from God. In his independence, he desired to establish a prosperous kingdom of his own in which he (the devil) would be worshiped as God was and is worshiped in His (10).
The devil, with at least one-third of God’s angels that chose to follow him, staged a failed rebellion, costing the devil and his followers, their place and role in Heaven, and eventually will spend all of eternity in the lake of fire (11).
In the meantime, to the extent that God permits (12), there is an ongoing conflict between the Kingdom of God and its components, and the devil’s Kingdom and its components, here on planet Earth.
The Kingdom of God is composed of the three divine beings of the Trinity (13), elect angels, and human believers who are born-again and execute God’s plan.
The Kingdom of Darkness consists of the devil, fallen angels, demons, and spiritually dead human beings who knowingly or unwittingly execute the plans of the devil.
There is a coming day when this present world is going to melt away in intense heat (14) and be replaced (15).
Every human soul, rather or not he or she is spiritually alive or spiritually dead, has an appointed departure date and an eternal destiny, based on the choices they made while here on Earth.
Learning of, and participating in, the plan that God has in mind for each dispensation of human history is what gives life here on Earth eternal purpose and meaning.
Learning how, when, and where the Kingdom of Darkness operates here on Earth is how one avoids being deceived by the devil and his Eph. 6: 12 forces of evil, whose desires it is to devour the servants of God (16).
The shorelines and beaches can be places of beauty, demonstrating the power of God, but also can be a visual aide illustrating the lines of division between one domain and another in the natural, and in the supernatural realms.
