Biblical Heresy?

It amazes me how arrogant we have become as a society in modern-day America. Our nation’s founders would be appalled at our trampling on premises they held dear. Recently, a local newspaper columnist discounted the Bible, the Holy Word of God, as irrelevant in our lives. I find it ironic, then, that even current secular sources continue to quote from it:
