Nor serve the gods of Babylon in the smallest way;
The God in whom they trusted would deliver as He willed
None could snatch them from Him even though they might be killed
So “Heat the furnace sevenfold” the angry king demands;
How dare these Hebrew rebels not bow to his commands!
When worship of his image they steadfastly declined
To death in fiery furnace the three friends were consigned.
In process of completing the orders of the sire
While casting trussed up Hebrews into the raging fire
The finest of his soldiers were instantly consumed—
No hope for the captives—Their demise by all presumed.
The king looked in the furnace, saw four men loosed and free
One looked like the Son of God interacting with the three:
Amazed by what he’d just observed he calls the captives out—
No burns, no smell, no sign of fire—A miracle, no doubt!
The three who trusted in their God are a witness still
That He delivers from the fire if we but do His will:
The fires of judgement were our lot but Christ has set us free—
No burns, no smell, no sign of fire, through all eternity.

I liked the twist and thought put into your poem to retell a familiar Bible story.
