Oh, no!
I'm so clumsy.
This is my favorite white
blouse, and I just spilled coffee down the front. This
goes in my Small Problems file, I guess. Wow, if this is
the start of my day, what will the rest be like?
All right.... It could be worse. My blue
blouse goes with this skirt, too.
I'll wear that. OK,
problem solved.
INCOMING!
What? Like I don't
have enough going on? Another problem?
Where am I supposed to file THIS one? What's
this one about? Another problem with my daughter's
classwork. Honestly, if she'd pay as much attention in
school as she does to the TV, she could... Oh, well. I'll
talk to her again later. I'll have to file this one in the Family Problem File. I just can't handle any more family problems when my Work Problem File is already taking up most of the space in my brain. Maybe I'll have to delete my worries about my nephew's money problems. I hate to be selfish, but something's gotta
go and it can't be one of my own kids. So.... OK.
I can handle it.

What now?
Don't I have enough on my agenda today?
How can I handle another project? My Work
Problem File can't hold one more thing. Honestly,
sometimes it seems they think I'm superhuman. Guess
I'll have to work through my lunch again. Of course, that
will help me lose some weight, so in a way that will take something out of the Personal Problem File -so I guess it's OK. I'll just have to get it done. This is a good job, and I know the boss doesn't ask me unless she really needs it done. So I'd better stop whining and just do it. I'll delete my worries about the company's new computer program. That won't even happen until next month. So it's OK to stop worrying about it. So... OK.
I can handle it – for now.
INCOMING!
Oh, no! Just what I needed.
I think my brakes are shot. I don't even want to
imagine what that's gonna cost me. These things always happen
at the worst times Where will THIS money come from? My Money
Problem File is already full and now I've got to take my car to the shop. I don't know how I'm going to pay all the bills and still buy Christmas presents for the family. Well, I'll just have to cancel our vacation. I need to get the car fixed. No, it's not fair and the kids will be upset... but what else can I do? Life just isn't fair, I guess. I just can't get ahead. This day
keeps getting worse and worse. Lord, help! Please help me figure something out. The Word says You are our Provider,
and I need brakes. Oh, wow,I sound so greedy. -
but I feel better. Maybe I shouldn't
treat God like Santa Claus, but the
Bible says we're supposed to cast
our cares on Him. This sure
seems better than just
filing it. For this
situation,
I will trust
in Him.

Whatever this is,
I will trust in Him.
INCOMING.
Forever,
I will trust in Him.

After just finishing moving into a new apartment, I can relate to the problem folder overload. While the solution is easy, it is not so easy to just let go and let God work.
Many congrats on your well deserved win.
This could describe the week I have been having.
Thank you for the reminder to give our cares to God.
I enjoyed how you spoke of the reality of life's unexpected twists without being whiny.
