Once long ago in the kingdom of Grog
Where everyone lived with their brain in a fog
They focused their life on material things
And never could see the despair it would bring
They never were satisfied wanting for more
And flaunted their trophies for all to adore
They had to do everything best of the best
Whatever it took to just trample the rest
And never once seeing the joy they would miss
They kept on believing that they could buy bliss
They feigned their acceptance pretending to care
But held all their treasures refusing to share
They reveled their conquests to all of their friends
But never could get their deep sadness to end
They spent all their money and lived like a king
But always felt empty and missing something
They liked to pretend that their life was ideal
But somewhere inside they knew they were unreal
