Beauty softly cries,
For her broken rhythm,
From worldly wanton lies.
In a darkened corner,
Love is kept so sound,
Tied by secrets left unsaid,
Tethered tight and bound.
Soaked in salty tears,
Spilled by downcast sins,
The spirit seeks its solace,
Redemption now begins.
Comes a certain Savior,
Riding through the wind,
With his torch of mercy,
The will begins to bend.
Words flow gently forth,
Spoken by a need,
To be at one with Him,
Written by His creed.
Sadness fades in His light,
Lifted by His glance,
The spirit stands before Him,
Begging for a chance.
Hands wipe away a tear,
As they begin to bleed,
Full of love and grace,
Healing every need.
To fall before His feet,
With repented trust,
Sorrow for a life of waste,
Transgressions turn to dust.
Far beneath the surface,
Hurts hasten to heal,
Lightened is the numbness,
Once again to feel.
Openness comes to the heart,
Love dances in the night,
Colors of His love now seen,
Such a lovely sight.
Now the world is beautiful,
Virtuous shades of grace,
The spirit comes alive once more,
To greet Him face to face.
Fathoms deep within,
All is fine and well,
The soul is gentled softy,
In Christ it comes to dwell.
