TITLE: On and On | Previous Challenge Entry

reaching well beyond the shield barrier of time.
It stretches farther than just thoughts of man,
but into the eternal ethereal love of all He owns.
Yet, we shrunken beings feed from His outstretched hand,
and grow fat through the fruitful bounty of His loving heart,
of which man is so blatantly undeserving.
On and on, His grace goes on,
it races forever past the unrealistic views of a stingy God,
and well into the arena of a questioning heart.
It goes well beyond the filling of an empty pot,
and breaks into the the stricken famine of the fearing heart
and fills it with His bountiful riches;
for it to feast forever on His kindness.
On and on, His righteousness goes on,
the oceanic spread of all His worthy and thoughtful deeds,
which permeate even into a darkened sin-filled world,
to bring equilibrium and permanency.
Everlasting justice and a gracious hand toward humanity
caused a Beloved one to be stripped and garbed in ragged robes,
and die a sinner's death.
On and on, His goodness goes on,
far outweighing the dearth of worth that rests in a wicked world.
All the gold and silver deeds proceed from the only pure heart,
that goodness swamps the repentant soul
and transfers the very heart of God into the hands of man.
What a Good Benevolent Being who forever oozes oil
onto a parched and arid land.
On and on, His holiness goes on,
burning like fire and burnished like polished bronze.
A flying arrow speeding forever, never to wane in its fight
and striking a fear to look at such brightness of face,
whose glory must be shielded to protect the lower race.
His bigness did not swat a miserable mankind
but gave us the Seeker –we lost ones to find.

I really enjoyed the "one and on" approach too. A great read that is worth going over quite a few times as a devotional.
This is an excellent poem that speaks of all His promises and glory. Absolutely divine!
While some of your word choices made me pause, I loved your emphasis on the never-ending attributes of God.
