So grossly unhappy, what happened to him?
He grunts and he groans and grrrs fill the air,
His growls are immense, his beady eyes glare.
The ground shakes beneath him as grandly he rears,
But what’s in his eyes – not grizzly bear tears?
I grovel before him, “Don’t grab me.” I plead,
You’re grouchy and hurt, some loving you need.
The grumpy brown grizzly drops back on all fours,
A grimace of pain as he shows me his paws.
The gravel and grit and stones on the floor,
Have cut them to shreds, no wonder he’s sore.
I gather some cloths, and an ointment quite green,
And with hot soapy water, his injuries clean.
He grumbles and growls and grrrs fill my ears,
But I’m no longer scared, I’ve banished my fears.
The grumpy brown grizzly, now grinning and glad,
Saunters off happy, no sign of being sad.
So don’t be afraid of the grrrs and the grumps,
Of people who’re grouchy with sensitive rumps.
They may need your help, and a bandage or two,
And isn’t that what, God has called us to do.

Returning good with kindness, love, and mercy for grumpiness of others toward us. Easier said than done. But it's what the Lord says.
