Walking through a field
Standing in awe of my God and King.
Bluebells and daisies bow beneath my feet
Adding to the praises of the King.
Ruler of the Universe
The heavens answer to Your name--
Clothed in their gowns of midnight blue.
The sun rises, shedding the dark mourning clothes
Exchanging them for ones of life.
Who makes us holy...
I pause, and look up at the sky,
hearing the bubbling brook.
What is HOLY?
Purification? Or...something more?
Redemption? Yes, that must be what is.
Who makes us holy with commandments
Thou shall and thou shall not
Truly boiled down into one commandment.
Love your neighbor as yourself.
Such a profound thought
But not that easy...
And has commanded us to wrap ourselves in the tzitzit.
Bind me close to You, oh Lord.
As close as the sun is to the blue sky.
As close as the smooth stones are to the blue water.
This is my prayer.

The berachah is a Jewish blessing that is spoken every time they open the tallit (the prayer shawl). It reads:
Blessed are You, Lord our God, Ruler of the Universe. Who makes us holy with commandments and has commanded us to wrap ourselves in the tzitzit.
