Hope is not of the present.
It is not of the now,
though we may hope now,
hope is of the future.
We hope for…
Heaven not Hell,
salvation, grace, peace
long life, love, prosperity, health,
things of the world, and things of the spirit.
We pray in hopes of the answer being yes.
We hope for forgiveness on Judgment Day,
even though it’s already been given.
We hope for enlightment.
We hope for understanding God’s will, his Word,
and our purpose.
We hope to be ready when he calls.
Hope gives us anticipation for the future.
In the garden at creation,
He has hope for all mankind.
Hope for the future in a timeless eternity.
In Bethlehem at the birth,
He has hope for all mankind.
In the river at the baptism,
He has hope for all mankind.
On the cross, looking down,
He has hope for all mankind.
At the resurrection,
He has hope for all mankind
He has hope for our purpose in being.
There is hope in mankind for all mankind.
Jesus is of the now,
Have Hope, for all mankind!
