TITLE: Saving the Planet | Previous Challenge Entry

Using her powers over plant life, she had strong vines rip the vault door off its hinges. She didn't factor the Light Force in to her plans, though.
Dressed entirely in a white fuzzy outfit, she tried to hide her identity by calling herself Pussy Willow.
Less than two minutes into her planned robbery, Amazing Woman and Blue Flame arrived.
Standing between Willow and the money, Blue Flame asked, “Trying a bank robbery in our town? With no weapons?”
Willow responded, “I just wanted to help protect the precious local forest and wildlife. It takes money to do that. How else was I going to affect change?”
Amazing Woman shot back, "Vote left, contribute to Greenpeace?”
Willow shouted at the hero, "Greenpeace is for whales, fool! And I do have weapons, my control over plant life!”
She then demonstrated this ability by using some of the vines to wrap up the pair.
Amazing Woman flexed her muscles as she grew and Blue Flame layered the vines off of her. Blue Flame said sarcastically, "Next?”
Willow used the other vines to throw the vault door at Amazing Woman, who fell under the unexpected weight. Blue Flame attacked the remaining vines in front of her, not noticing the super sized Venus fly trap behind her.
The plant pinned Blue Flame’s arms. But Amazing Woman asked Willow, “Who are you and how can you control plants?”
Pussy Willow decided that there was no harm telling her story. “My mother was what you call a metahuman, but just used her abilities to grow her plants in the successful operation of her flower shop. I decided on a more activist role of saving nature. It disgusts me seeing people harm the planet! Earth is so precious. I am Pussy Willow, protector of the plants!”
Amazing Woman rolled her eyes and said, “Really, you're just the Lorax in white fur.”
Willow angrily used the rose on a woman's counter to shoot thorns at Amazing Woman. Those bounced off her super tough skin. Soon after Blue Flame managed to burn her way free. Blue Flame taunted the thief, "It's back to two against one. You should be grateful we don't have time to get some weed killer for your henchplants.”
“Not so,” shouted Pussy Willow, “I have the entire plant kingdom!”
Amazing Woman used the psychic link she shared with her teammate, ‘She thinks she's a plant. 'Can you use your powers to dehydrate her?’
`I can't be that precise’ Blue Flame thought back.
Amazing Woman decided that brute force wasn’t going to cut it, so she tried reason again. “I understand you want to save the world, but if your methods are criminal, how can you claim the moral high ground?”
Willow snarled, “Mammalian oppressors. I’m trying to save the planet. People may think their things are more precious, but without Mother Earth there would be no money for them to spend destroying the world.” She wailed, “Can’t you see that?”
Blue Flame fired back, “Maybe, but that doesn’t give you the right to decide what other people choose to do with their money!”
Amazing Woman shrunk down while her colleague engaged with Pussy Willow. She had to decide how she could take down the villain. She could land on her shoulder and increase her weight until Willow collapsed, or enter her ear and disrupt her equilibrium. She decided to do the easiest way. After flying behind Willow, she grew and increased her strength, then held her in a wrestling hold.
Despite Willow's struggles, she restrained her until the police arrived. Amazing Woman advised them to keep her away from any plant life. Willow groaned that that meant she wouldn't be around her friends. Blue Flame retorted, "Jail's not supposed to be a social club. You should have thought about that before robbing a bank.”
